Shipping & Delivery
We know you want to get your beautiful new books as soon as possible, so we ship in-stock orders several times a week. We do our best to make sure orders for books that are in stock go out within 48 hours of being placed. And, of course, as soon as we get new books in, we get them out the door and en route to you as quickly as we can—typically we fill preorders in the order they were received. As mailings go out, we send automatic emails to let you know you have a package on the way. (We don’t specify what book it is in these emails, because some of our most loyal customers who usually have multiple preorders in the queue have told us they enjoy being surprised. But we do update about what’s shipping on our website, in our newsletter, and on our Facebook and Twitter accounts.)
We always recommend ordering directly from us for guaranteed delivery in the event a book sells out before we can supply other retailers with copies. Please note that lettered editions usually take a few extra months to produce, since traycases can only be made once the books come back from the printer.
Everything we at Subterranean do is designed to produce the highest quality works of readable art we can and then get them into the eager hands of our readers as quickly as possible. As an E-commerce Web site, Subterranean Press collects personal information, such as your e-mail address, name, home or work address or telephone number. Subterranean Press is committed to protecting the security of your personal information. For example, we store the personal information you provide on computer systems with limited access that are located in controlled facilities. When we transmit highly confidential information (such as a credit card number) over the Internet, we use a secure payment gateway so your information is protected.

Subterranean Press will occasionally update this Statement of Privacy to reflect company and customer feedback. If there are material changes to this Statement or in how Subterranean Press will use your personal information, Subterranean Press will prominently post such changes prior to implementing the change. Subterranean Press encourages you to periodically review this Statement to be informed of how Subterranean Press is protecting your information.
All books are returnable for refund within 30 days of receipt, provided they are received in resalable condition.
Damaged Products and Missed Deliveries
In the case of a damaged shipment, missed delivery, or a shipment that is missing one or more items, please let us know as soon as possible and we will do everything we can to remedy the situation. We do have some spare copies of our titles to replace damaged shipments, as well as extra dust jackets to replace those that are fouled in transit. Please email info@subterraneanpress.com and we will respond as soon as we are able.
Changing your shipping address on our website can be done by logging in to your account. On the Dashboard, your default shipping and billing address will be displayed, under which there is an option to edit address. Please note: changing your address on your account will not change the shipping address on previously placed orders.
If you would like us to ship a previously placed order to an address other than the shipping address included on the original order, please email info@subterraneanpress.com with the heading “Address Change” and include which order numbers and titles you would like us to update, the current shipping address, and the new address you would like us to change it to. Once we’ve completed the change, you will receive a new order acknowledgement via email with the updated information, and the address should be correct on the “My Orders” tab on your account page. Please allow one business day for us to process your requests.
