The First Illustration for Joe Abercrombie’s THE BLADE ITSELF
We’ve finally managed a bit of progress on Joe Abercrombie’s epic fantasy novel, The Blade Itself, as you can see from Alex Preuss’s first color plate for the limited edition. The book itself is fully designed and proofread, and not far off now that we’ll see the illustrations on a regular schedule.
Beyond the illustrations, we just have to manage the signature pages, have ARCs printed and sent out, and then Blade will be ready for the printer. Thanks to everyone for their patience. Sometimes these illustrated editions take longer to put together than we might like.
