Sleaze, the Old Fashioned Way, with Lawrence Block and Donald E. Westlake
If you look at past titles published by SubPress, you’ll note we have a definite liking for some of Lawrence Block’s books that have gone rather far afield, such as Ronald Rabbit is a Dirty Old Man, Threesome, and Cinderella Sims. What most of Block’s many fans don’t know is that early in his career he wrote a trio of novels with the equally wonderful Donald E. Westlake. (An aside: Get to a bookstore and pick up Westlake’s The Ax, or any of the Parker novels he wrote as Richard Stark.)
Next year we’ll be publishing the trio of novels — Sin Hellcat, So Willing, and A Girl Called Honey — under the overall title of Hellcats and Honey Girls.
