Neil Gaiman — THE GRAVEYARD BOOK Goes to the Printer
We’ve just been informed by Neil Gaiman’s fabulous assistant, the aptly named Fabulous Lorraine, that the signature pages for The Graveyard Book will arrive in our offices in the next two days, which means our edition will be at the printer next week.
We’ve finalized a number of details for our book, coordinating them with Dave McKean, including that the spine will be bound in Iris Cloth, while the boards will be covered in an Ann Muir handmade paper, with a special label by Dave affixed to the front of each book. Our edition will be printed on 70# Mohawk superfine, in two colors, the only edition of Graveyard to bear such distinctions.
In addition, rather than covering our gorgeous binding, the dust jacket image will be hand tipped into each copy as a full-length fold-out.
As we’ve mentioned before, we don’t expect to be able to fill orders for wholesalers or large online retailers, meaning SubPress is the only place to order your copy of the limited edition.
